THE BRIEF:

Salt Hair is a boutique salon that offers a professional, relaxing experience, passionate and committed to enhancing the confidence of clients. Salt Hair is located in the seaside town of Newcastle, specialising in the sun-kissed, lived-in beachy look and needed a visual identity to match.

THE SOLUTION:

Centred around the soft, warm coastal town it calls home, the new identity for Salt Hair is elegant and sophisticated, accompanied by a feminine colour palette with highlights of coastal and sandy shades. The brand concept began with a feminine feel utilising an abundance of curves to work as a visual representation of the movement of hair. Bringing this concept through to the branding, tapping into movement and symmetry, two key notions within hair and beauty.

Flowing into the interiors combining soft, subtle textures to create a serene environment as soon as you enter. The yellow onyx mitred into the mirrors adds a delicate detail for the clients to enjoy. Buttery Venetian plaster brings a softness to the space, combined with ethereal curtaining that delicately separates each station for privacy when needed.
